HGUC 042 ORX-005 Gaplant 1/144 – Gunpla High Grade Universal Century

The HGUC ORX-005 Gaplant 1/144 (No. 042) is a model kit from Bandai's High Grade Universal Century line, based on the transformable mobile armor featured in Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam. Designed by the Titans as a high-speed, space combat unit, the Gaplant stands out with its aggressive appearance, enormous boosters, and partial transformation capability for extreme mobility combat.

This experimental mobile suit was piloted by Rosamia Badam and other Titan forces during the Gryps Conflict, becoming one of the most iconic and distinctive transformable machines in Zeta Gundam.

The Gaplant in Zeta Gundam

Within Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam, the ORX-005 Gaplant was developed by the Titans as part of their research into high-maneuverability transformable mobile armors. Its design prioritizes speed and assault combat, incorporating massive propulsion units and movable arms capable of deploying rapid attacks in both space and atmospheric combat.

Thanks to its unique silhouette and its hybrid configuration between a mobile suit and mobile armor, the Gaplant became one of the most memorable units of the Gryps Conflict.
