Gundam – MG 1/100 FA-78-1 Full Armor Gundam

The MG 1/100 FA-78-1 Full Armor Gundam by Bandai Spirits recreates the iconic Full Armor Gundam, one of the most recognizable variants in the Universal Century heavy Mobile Suit line.

Based on the design from Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt, this model combines the Gundam silhouette with a massive additional armor system and an impressive amount of weaponry. The result is a Gunpla with a spectacular presence in 1/100 scale.

🟢 A Gundam transformed into an assault machine

The FA-78-1 Full Armor Gundam starts with the RX-78-2 structure and adds a complete system of additional armor and weaponry.

The Full Armor configuration significantly increases the Mobile Suit's volume, especially on the shoulders, arms, legs, and torso, creating a much heavier and more aggressive appearance.

Its characteristic green and white color scheme, accompanied by yellow, red, and gray details, reinforces its military machine aesthetic.

🔫 A true weapons platform

The great appeal of the Full Armor Gundam is its enormous arsenal.

The kit reproduces its main combat systems, including:

• Beam Rifle
• Double-barrel Beam Rifle
• 360mm Rocket Launcher
• Six-barrel Missile Launcher
• Beam Sabers
• Shield
• Additional armament integrated into the armor.

The different systems can be positioned and manipulated to create a variety of combat configurations.

🛡️ The Full Armor System

The additional armor consists of numerous independent parts that cover practically the entire Mobile Suit.

The armor modules add volume and depth to the design, while the different panels and openings allow for a particularly detailed finish.

One of the most interesting aspects of the kit is the ability to display different elements of the armament and the structure found beneath the armor.

🦾 Master Grade Technology

The 1/100 scale allows for much more detailed development of the Mobile Suit's structure and its weapon systems.

The kit incorporates an articulated construction that allows the Full Armor Gundam to be placed in different poses, although its massive equipment load makes the most spectacular poses particularly suitable for display.

The parts are molded in different colors and feature numerous surface details, so a very complete finish can be achieved straight out of the box.

🧩 Perfect for advanced modeling

The Full Armor Gundam is particularly rewarding for those who enjoy customizing their Gunpla.

The large armor surfaces are perfect for adding:

• Panel lining
• Decals
• Paint
• Weathering
• Wear and battle damage effects

With good painting and weathering, it can be transformed into an authentic veteran combat machine.
