🐺 The King of Wolves

After the severe damage sustained by the Gundam Barbatos during its confrontation with the Mobile Armor Hashmal, the unit was rebuilt and profoundly modified.

The result was the Gundam Barbatos Lupus Rex, a version even more specialized in close-quarters combat. Its new design incorporates elements derived from the Hashmal itself and takes Mikazuki's combat philosophy to the extreme: approach the enemy and destroy them using brute force and direct combat.

Its name perfectly reflects its appearance: Lupus means "wolf" and Rex, "king". The result is a Gundam with a much more animalistic and menacing silhouette than previous versions of the Barbatos.

The Lupus Rex abandons many of the conventional proportions of a Mobile Suit and adopts a much fiercer appearance.
